We had a great day wandering through the
Malba museum in Buenos Aires. It's been pretty hot and humid here, so just getting into some cold air conditioning for a few hours calms the kids down. Unfortunately, the main show was Andy Warhol, perhaps my least favorite artist of all time , but I did run across a few very interesting Argentine painters whose work I had never seen. I also got a kick out of the benches (not on exhibit, there to sit on); the Malba has these wooden benches where some of the wood planks shoot out of the benches morphing from the rigid expected lines of a bench into organic curves flowing around corners, up and down walls.
